The East Kent Basketball Association (EKBA) is the governing body for amateur basketball in East Kent, and runs the men’s and women’s league and cup competitions in the local area.
We are a non-profit organisation managed by a team of dedicated volunteers, and funded by our members, fund raising events and donations. We are registered with Basketball England and share their views to enhance the sport of basketball, encourage and enable people to participate in the sport, and to lift the performance and quality of basketball.
As a group we try to help support and enhance the game wherever possible and we'd love for you to get involved and we'll help you along the way to:
- PLAY for one of our local clubs
- COACH or assist and get training and support from the league
- REFEREE get advise and help to earn your official qualifications and get paid for the games you officiate
- VOLUNTEER help out where you can and join the amazing basketball family
